
Education Sessions for Parents
We offer a range of 1:1 education sessions to help you prepare for birth, newborn care, and adult sleep education. We also offer health and wellbeing sessions for parents to support their own physical and emotional wellbeing along the parenting journey.
These sessions are provided by Amanda Pavlich, a birth/postpartum doula, newborn care specialist. pediatric sleep specialist; she is also a skilled health educator who worked within the health, wellness and medical as a subject matter expert on various health topics.

Newborn Care Education
The newborn care session is designed for both birthing and non-birthing partners. The goal of this session is to educate your family to help you feel comfortable caring for your newborn.
This session will cover:
Caring for baby’s bodily needs (feeding, burping, diapering, skin care, bathing, etc.)
Soothing your baby
Newborn sleep
Getting support and postpartum self care

Cesarean Preparation
A birth doula with extensive experience working with families prepping for a cesarean birth can talk you through what to expect, how to navigate the hospital experience, what to bring, and how to support each other through this process.

During this session, we will also talk about informed consent, building a cesarean birth plan and discuss healing after birth.

Adult Sleep Education
Meet with a certified health educator with extensive experience in supporting both children and adults in improving their overall sleep habits.

During this session, we will discuss what sleep challenges you current experience and troubleshoot things that can help you improve your overall sleep hygiene.
